With great enthusiasm and admiration, we announce that the Los Cabos Rotary Club has given the distinction of Honorary Member to Mr. Clicerio Mercado, in recognition of his tireless work for the community. This honor reflects Mr. Mercado’s exemplary commitment to the core values of Rotary service.

The special moment happened during the Rotary Club Christmas Posada celebration on December 12th at the charming and newly established Farol 16 restaurant located in the heart of downtown Cabo San Lucas. Members gathered for a friendly get-together, to share moments of camaraderie and gratitude.

The decision to grant this recognition to Clicerio Mercado was not taken lightly. His unwavering dedication and positive impact on the local community serve as inspiration to us all. Mr. Mercado has proven to be a role model in the practical application of Rotary principles and the continual pursuit of making the world a better place.

Also, on this same night, the prestigious ‘Paul Harris’ Rotary pin was awarded to the Club’s founding member, current Secretary, and Assistant Governor of District 4100, Mr. José Rubén Aréchiga de la Peña, affectionately known as ‘Diez.’ This recognition acknowledges his hard work and outstanding commitment to the Rotary Foundation.

During the Rotary Christmas Posada, members enjoyed a delightful dinner prepared by the renowned Chef Manuel De Lucca, providing a unique gastronomic experience for all attendees.
